CloseIn Psalm 42, the Psalmist has lost sight of the reality of God, not his belief in God. He’s experiencing spiritual dryness, drought, darkness. Often, when someone feels this sense of distance from God it is accompanied by a sense of guilt. But that’s not the case here. He’s experiencing a time of spiritual dryness but it’s not because he’s done anything wrong. Ever been there?
