Pungo Strawberry Festival Parade

Memorial Day Weekend – Saturday May 27!

What’s better than going to a parade?  Being in the parade!!! This will be the 7th year Essential Church has had a float in the Pungo Strawberry Fest Parade.  We put our band on a flatbed trailer and crank out a sample of the amazing talent you get to hear every weekend.  Since we can’t throw candy, we need you to join us in the parade and hand out some really cool stuff.  It’s a lot of fun and the perfect event for all ages. You can bring strollers, wagons, or tricycles for the kids.  It’s one of the best events of the year.

Parade participants park in festival lots ($10 each vehicle).  You can drop off your stuff and family members at the Coast Guard Communication Complex, then park in a festival lot.  The Coast Guard Communication Complex is located on Cayman Lane just before Pungo Pizza on Princess Anne Road.

To help prep the float, come to the Coast Guard Communication Complex between 7:30 and 8:00 am (Indian River Road closes at 8 am).

To walk in the parade, arrive at the Coast Guard Complex by 9:30 am.

We’ll have water for the parade, but you need to eat breakfast before you come, and bring your own snacks.

We are 50 in the parade lineup.  MAKE SURE YOU WEAR YOUR ESSENTIAL T-SHIRT!    You should definitely bring sunscreen and a water bottle!
